Off Road Driver Training  |
We endeavour to design all our courses to meet the exact needs of Individual clients.
We train to the British Off Road Driving Association (BORDA) standards and all our Trainers are Fully Trained and Accredited.
We have 3 levels of training that can be tailored to meet your needs.

Basic Level |
Usually a half day course for up to 2 drivers per vehicle, or a full day course for 3 drivers per vehicle, it includes:
- Operator safety & Legal issues
- The Environment
- Types and suitability of vehicles
- The specialist controls
- Regular vehicle checks
- Basic driving in mild conditions

Standard Level |
Usually a full day course for up to 2 drivers per vehicle, it includes:
- All of the Basic level plus
- Ascents & Descents
- Ruts, Ditches & Sideslopes
- Assessing risks
- Route Planning
- Vehicle sympathy

Higher Level |
Usually a 2 day course for 2 drivers per vehicle, it includes:
- All of the Basic & Standard levels plus
- Steep ascents & descents
- Advanced failed ascent recovery
- Vehicle overrun
- Loss of engine braking
- Precise driving
- Power & momentum
- Self Recovery
- Theory of:
- Wading
- Other recovery methods
- Wheel Changing
All Trainees receive their own set of course notes
and “Certificates of Training”.
Independent assessments and
“Certificates of Competence” are available for those
that have received training or for those that require
certification but don’t consider training necessary.

| We Train & Assess many BORDA Trainers to full Accreditation status, if you are interested in becoming a Trainer or Marshall our One Day Introduction Course will be the best way of getting started. |
