Winch Training

Although winches are a common sight on working 4x4’s operators often overlook the importance of training to use them. HSE & PUWER states that appropriate training must be given.

Our courses cover all types of winches and include training on:

• Understanding the winch and it’s ancillary equipment.
• Understanding loads & risks
• Essential safety procedures & PPE
• Checking the equipment
• Straight winching
• Angled winching
• Winching with pulley blocks

Courses start with a class room session before the hands on training commences

All Trainees receive their own set of course notes and “Certificates of Training”.
